In obedience to the Command of of the L signified
to my by your letter of 30 of April last that I should
furnish you with the Explanations required by the
Navy Board refuting my accounts of disbursements
for the construction &c of the same Vessels
built under my directions for H M Service
I now beg have to am at length called to
transmit such Vouchers & explanations as
I trust may prove satisfactory to their Lordships
The letter the B letter of 27 April the of which
was in year 1730 alongbesides with the
particular observations requiring specific explanations
contains some general observations
In submitting these explanations to their L I shall
for the most orderpart follow the order arrangement
of the observations requiring these explanations
as the are stand in the letter of the
A B (of the 27th of April enclosed to me in year above mentioned
letters of the 30th ing of the last my answer to the
general observations respecting the unaeconomical
mode of building these Vessels compared to
the regular modes adopted by with respect to other
Vessels Naval Works executed for
his M Service.
