Instruction for receiving Dividends on Annuity
Notes at the Country Post-Offices.

Apply to any of the Postmaster of any of his
Majesty's Post Offices Generaler may, whether belonging to the General

Whosoever, being in possession of an Annuity
Note is desirous of receiving theinterest due thereonPost or the Penny Post, at your desire which you wish
at any Country Town, to reckon your dues is to apply to the Post,
Master of that townthe Post Office, whether (General or Penny) at which he wishes to receive it and give him notice of The Master will thereupon
give him
two copies of
produce to him
a printed Form A
which he is to fill up
and sign, and at the
same time

such desire by signing and properly filling up the blanks in the printed and signing the Form

to the one marked A and hereunto subjoined: hefilling up and signing the<add>a</add>printed Form of Notice similar
is at the same time to have the Note with the to one Form A hereunto annexed subjoineds: the
Postmaster, who will give him his receipt for the
same by signing and filling up the blankand signing a printed Form of
a Receipt marked B similar to the Form B hereunto also subjoined and hereunto subjoined and
marked B: in which Receipt will be specified the time, both as to days and
hours (called Payment
Days) and Hours — called
Office Hours

produces the said Receipt

himself who signed the Notice, he has nothing to
do but to take back his Note and to receive
the interest that has been received for him thereon
which will be delivered the Postmaster will deliver to him in his giving back
the Receipt: but if it be the Bearer of the Receipt
be a different person from him who signedgave But [+] if the Receiptapplication be
be not made and the Receipt
be not produced as above,
till after the days of payment
are expired, then
whoever received the
same must pay
the Note will not be
delivered up, but on
payment of the Interest
due thereupon from the
first 9 days of the year
untill the day on which
application shall so be
made.

the Notice the form he must produce an Order for that purpose
according to the Form marked CNo 3 signed
and filled up by the person who gave the Notice
or in case of death, from an his Executor or Administrator
according to the Form marked No 4.


But, to prevent the proprietors of Notes from
throwing the burthen and risk of keeping the
Notes upon the Postmaster, whosoever fails of to be applying
for his note and dividend within the time appointed
