and the time requisite for correspondence with the Head
office: which last portion of time being the interval
between the departure fromand return of the Post to each
Post Office will of course carry within it certain
limits according to the distance of each Country Postplace
Office from the metropolis:- lastly the time to be allowed
for accidents relative to the state of the weather, and of
the Roads.
4. That (to prevent the casual accumulation parti

which the Master of that Office is permitted to receive:
each Inner Box or Compartment being adapted
to the reception of a Rouleau containing the
