2 Annuity Notes
II. Sale
Plan Sale 14 Purchased - money delivered daily as from the Sub-Penny Post Offices 15. That from the Local the General Post Offices, on each Post day, there be transmitted
to the Annuity Note Office, by the Mail
Coaches, but in a separate box or package, and
either directly or through the medium of the Head General
Post Office, but in the latter can without being
opened or detained at that Office, from each
Country Post Office, the money constituting the produce
of the sale made of Annuity Notes thereat,
on or up to that same day, up to the departure of
the Post, together with a Day-Bill, expressive of
the number of Notes sold on or up to that
day and hour, according to the practice [5] observed
in the instance of the Penny Post Offices, in respect
of the money taken received for the convergance of
Letters: through those Offices — the Notes sold being
characterized by their respective num Nos.
15 Supply of Notes not to exceed the security found 16. That the Number of Annuity Notes
thus regularly kept up at thus transmitted to each Sub-Office be gradually encreased,
according to the experience of the demand: yet so
as not to be encreased beyond the amount of the
security found, which of for that purpose may
undergo a proportionable encrease likewise.
