the following scene presents itself dialogue ensues.
Enter Dr Positive with a Paper in his
hand.
Dr Positive. So, young man, I understand you
are going to set up for a Watchmaker—
Apprentice. Yes Sr an't please you. I should
be very proud to serve you, Sir, or any of your friends, for if you
should happen to want any thing in my
way.
Dr Pos. Ho — Oh, as to that, I suppose so — but that's not my business — Here,
Ay, Oh, as to that I suppose so,

Dear Sir, an't please your reverence

Dr Pos. child, never mind what it's about, you

Apprentice
Sr I hope you will forgive me, but
I had really rather be excused — indeed Sir
I can't.
Dr Pos. Can't — how? what? do you mean? what should
hinder you.
Apprentice. Because Sr, I am afraid
it's wicked.
Dr Pos. Wicked? how com'st to think of
that?, boy?
Apprentice.
