Mischiefs resulting
from the
neglect of the
— Doubling the
expense to a man
From the non-observance of these rules flow
several inconveniences
1. If a man who is finds himself thus repelled in every such way from the establishment
by any of these means resorts for spiritual
instruction to a Minister not comprised belonging to it
within it, he is made to pay twice over for
the same thing.

inability of finding a sufficient number of contributors
to join with him, he for atr omitts to
apply for instruction elsewhere, resort to foreign aid altogether a benefit he loses the benefit
of an instruction which by the supposition
he stands in need of, and paying all the while
for what it is not in his power to enjoy.

3. To this must may be added the perplexity of
mind which will naturally be liable to precede
and accompany either of the above mentioned situations;
and the jealousy with which he will be
apt to regard such of his fellow christians
whom the partiality of the laws, unjust as it
will appear to him has thus favoured at his
expence.
