very part thereof in such terms as to him may
appear meet, it being left to the each man's conscience and discretion
and prudence of all good citizens and that becomes not to express
their disapprobation in any intemperate or unseemly
manner.

Neither the continuing to officiate in the capacity
of Minister either according to the New or the Old Liturgy
nor the existing frequenting of Divine Service
according to either of them is to be deemed a
token of unreserved approbation nor an adherence
without exception to all the
tenets
therein delivered or assumed.

Where in either Liturgy any thing form of
words is required to be said or seen pronounced by the congregation
or any portion to be observed, such
requisition is to be understood as no more than
a simple direction, which any member of the
congregation is at liberty to pronounce or abstain
from pronouncing as he thinks proper.

To where any posture is required prescribed to be
observed maintained it being left to each mans conscience
and discretion not to disturb the peace of the congregation
by inconvenient carriage, or give offence
by useless singularity.

Reform Liturgy 1
On the 1st of Jany 17.. the Liturgy hereunto
annexed shall be deemed the English Liturgy of
[the Church of]England, under the name of
the Liturgy of 17.. and shall be be made use stand in
the place of the Liturgy at present established
except as herein in the case after is excepted. +

If in any Parish it shall be resolved
within a in due proper time by a Vestry duly assembled
it shall be resolved to continue the old
Liturgy, the old Liturgy shall accordingly be
continued in that Parish for that year: and so in any
future succeeding year, the New Liturgy being always
to be observed of course except [from year to year] in
case of such a resolution passed as aforesaid to the contrary.

The persons having votes at such Vestry shall
be all such persons and no other as have votes
according to the general law of the Kingdom England as
it stands at present: nor shall the right be confined
to Select - Vestry men in cases places where Select Vestries
are established by local laws.

That the Votes thus given may be the g expression
of the real sentiments of the persons giving
them, and not unfalsified by any worldly influence
the mode of collecting them shall be secret; viz.
by ballot.
