Under these several heads of mischief more or less

1. Mischief the first - Borderline of insincerity Insincerity in all its shapes and
correspondent depravation of the moral frame of the sort of

So far no Among the several modes
of declaring persuasion on the subject of practice of religious

In proof of the generality not to say universality
of the insincerity with which this declaration is treated

They who contend that nothing less than can
"justify subscription to the thirty nine articles than the
actual belief of each & every separate proposition contained
in them, must suppose "(says he)" that the legislature expected
the consent of ten thousand men and that in perpetual
succession, not to one controverted proposition,
but to many hundreds. It is difficult to conceive
how this could be expected by any, who observed the
incurable diversity of human opinion upon all subjects
short of demonstration.
