The English Church of England Church service is
fouled by no fewer than three creeds has no fewer
than three creeds to befoul it.

For a system of religion opinion in matters of religion — in a word for a which calls itself the
source, no fewer than three different creeds — three different
accounts given of it.

accounts of religious
opinions —

These three different accounts are they all
of them correct and compleat? compleat as well as correct?
Then out of the three two are useless. Two ought
to be Whether by selection or whether by lot,
two ought to be cast out at any rate. Of the two
no one of which neither of which neither of them by the supposition neither does any
good that would not be equally done by the third what
if any can be the effect? Only to present to the mind of this or
that person a sense different in this or that part from
that of the third, and thus to instill error instead of
truth.

In this any or that part, is this or that one of them inconsistent
with this or that other? if so, then by the supposition,
in one or other of them there must error,
and that error rendered perpetual or at least endeavoured
so to be.
