The following letter concluding with the signature
T. Kipling and bearing with the date Peterborough, March 23 1815,
is reprinted from the Monthly Magazine for July 1, 1815
p. 580, under head Provincial Occurrences. Under
the apprehension of text rendering seeing this work, unintentionally so was became an instrument of
injustice, and the
suspicion that

the apprehension that as the whole should might may have been a forgery, or some
material misrepresentation have been included in this printed copy
explanation —
of it, the succeeding Nos of that Magazine have been
carefully but ineffectually watched, in expectation of
seeing some communication of from or on behalf of
this Very Reverend person, on the subject of it. No such
communication having been found, the genuineness an
genuineness
correctness as well as genuineness of it is
regarded as admitted.
