Dean Andrews
III D

Look at W. Allen — suppose him drunk, what is his instance would
the excess produce: expression of scorn hurled at the bulk of mankind his fellow
subjects
under the name of Aledrinkers? No, but an effusion of universal
benevolence, covering embracing the whole globe.

Had Suppose the unguardedness ever so perfect — what would then
be the effect of it? to give deliberate expression to affections which were not
in his heart? No: but for want of prudentially reflection to give expression to affection which it
found there.
