Heaven's sake send out a press, types, some Congreve Rockets,
and Hospital supplies. Have I told you in my other Letters
that a Letter was sent to Gordon 4 months ago, pressing
his return? If he brought out a vessel with materials for
the reduction of the strong holds in the hands of the enemy,
his name would be immortalized. I am writing to the authorities
in the Islands, and I hope to have collected the
materials for a good sized pamphlet to print in the course
of a few days - it shall be sent when ready_ Great efforts are
making to open the Ball with effect I shall write to Gibraltar
tomorrow, and urge M to send up some goods - there is a
tremendous opening here for any body that had a little money
to spare - Yours

I wrote to my wife in detail a few days ago pray tell her so.
Although it is probable Mack's Contract may not be ratified to
the Letter, he will lose nothing by it, as the Government will
get all they want from him I have every reason to think
these people will make the South American swindlers blush
if it be possible. I will write to all in the course of a few days.
