Mr. Bentham to Richd. Rush Esq &c &c &c
(Copy.)
Greece. New York Constitution.
Queen's Square Place
Decr. 4. 1823.
Dear Sir
When I sent you the Quarantine
-stained Letters, I had not yet been informed that
they were from Mr. Lureotis, by whom the application
which you had to transmitt to your Constituted
authorities, from whom you received an
answer, was made. From the same person, in
the same character, I had and have an application
to me for my assistance to them, such as it
is, towards the formation of their laws. I sent
them accordingly some time ago, a paper containing
observations on their Constitutional
Code, in it's then present state: which paper has
since been translated into Greek here, and I have
some reason to think, has by this time been
translated into Greek there. If I print it here, which
Identifier: | JB/012/161/001 "JB/" can not be assigned to a declared number type with value 12.
