For want of it, my condition has been
ever since, and remains to this day, truly pitiable.
Are there no means of relief within the
field of possibility? Are there no means of communication
for such a purpose between the
land of corruption and the land of uncorruption
and good Government? I have in contemplation
ere long a request for your assistance, in transmitting
a paper to your Secretary of Secretaries, for
whom I am sitting cross legged every day, in the
humble hope of it's procuring the transfiguration
of the Secretary into a President.
