Chrestomathia
Greater — far greater is the honour bestowed upon him in that foreign
country than in his own: for having its root in the
nation of the human as in every other sensitive species
scarce in any instance have these proportions ever failed
to be exemplified.

In the Exhibition at in Somerset place
which among the paintings was a portrait of Mr Bentham for
which the artist Mr Pickersgill has received from the Royal
Institute in testimony of his acknowledged pr a present
of 100 Guineas, among the sculptures is a bust of the
author of Chrestomathia a present to Mr Bentham. A present bust
by whom is executed and presented as the original:
and by whom? by Mr David, a man acknowledged
to be at the head of that class of Artists in Frames

country waits, till the day
when his happiness can not
be increased by it.
The day in which the happiness of this manufacture
of the commodity is no longer in a condition to receive
at the hand of gratitude is the day which the
gratitude of his own countryman waits to see before it manifests
itself.
