Complicatedness of

Under no existing system of procedure, it may
be said, does the history of any Judicatory offend
any example of any such complicated tissue
of injuries. True. But it does not follow but
that tissues still more complicated may, under
every Judicatory, have had place in still superior
number. A small number of suits
with their respective masses of delay vexation
and expence may suffice, under the ordinary systems
of procedure, to exhaust the purse and perseverance
of one or other of the parties. And if in the
course of any one action, reference comes to
be made to any fact capable of being taken for
the subject matter of another, irrelevancy is
of course objected, and silence on that topic compelled ordered
