Such So intimate was the connection between justice and homicide
when thus deliberately and solemnly committed, so much
superior on the scale of probative force this sort of supernatural
to the best and most conducive evidence, that if without
question or quibble law had been were to be left to take its course
the title to the crown would in every coronation
dinner be to be fought for with every pretender who
could engage a champion to appear for him on his behalf for that
purpose. At a much less expence of blood and treasure
than what was lavished in the several years 1715 and
1745, the princes of the Stuart dynasty might have
received the judgment of God upon their claim to the throne
