I would will take up arms, that is if I could can get
what I thought think enough to join with me: else
I would will fly the country. I will know I shall
be a Traitor and a Rebel: and that as such
the Legislature would act consistently and
legally in setting a price upon my head:
but I would this is a case in which I will take up arms. (And having
thus said I apprehend I am as little in
danger of be incurring the resentment of the
Legislature or of the King were I worth their notice as of any one that
reads me.
This is the one on Law is one against which I will take up arms
a Law making the King Despotic.
There is another Law in against which our Author
if he is consistent will take up arms.
It is a Law agains about Hackney-Coaches.
In a Law about Hackney Coaches
there is a clause obliging part of
the number licensed to do work on Sundays.
This is in the very teeth of one
of our Author's Laws of God. Remember
those do no manner of work the Sabbath-day. Those ... and nor by Horse, and nor
thy Man Servant. Tis not many of God's
Laws that are thus explicit: those capable of
