Art. 1 Of necessity the epistolary mode is employed
where the at the time the first habitation or his rendering
of the examinand is in the of a foreign state.

Efficiency of means of
securing responsion
will depend on the hold
which the originating
judicatory has on the
examinants interests.
Art.2 In these Of any endeavours employed arrangements taken
to ensure secure appropriate reassurance the efficiency and success
will in this case depend upon the hold which the originating
judicatory law upon the interest of the examinand upon the
efficacy of the means which it has for obtaining com
appropriate compliance. Any such means, after having
any such objection in the nature of the case may have afforded
to the employment of them the Judge if he sees reason
will employ for this purpose employ accordingly. Examples are

1. Oral — by Examination

Art. 4 If To the oral mode the Judge proceed as follows
1. An interrogation paper drawn up or approved by him is
transmitted to some person nominated or approved by him
who either is resident on the spot or is sent thither for
that purpose. Such person is styled the Examination Commissioner
to wit of the originative judicatory whatever it be
Art. Of the hold which it had have on the the judgment system of the state
subjects of this state the judicial system it may happen
that it has a part more or less considerable on this
or that subject of a foreign state: so far exceptions excepted as may be necessary
for the purposes of justice this hold the Judge will not
scruple to employ for the benefit either of a subject of this
state or of the subject of any foreign state
