To judge of the sincerity with real weight that is given to these sage maxims
are suffer'd by those who suffer them
consists the instead of the interest of the public, were it there own
that were at stake, would they he then be governed by
them (these sage maxims). A river begins to overflows its

they he find in the way of reasoning an sufficient inducement to sit
still and see the mischief done without attempting

precarious? If he wanted a house and saw
an opportunity of getting one he liked at an under
rate would he neglect it the consideration that
every man can not be as rich as he would wish
be an inducement to him satisfy him to neglect it?
