In whether to be given to that one of the Creditors
that will sue as far as his Debt and costs goes, seems the
surplus to the King.

Schedule not to be sworn to in the first instance, but
Debtors Creditors to have notice to attend and examine - after
examination or time for examination elapsed, then to
be sworn to.

Sum of money not exceeding 4d allowed and goods
&c allowed to the value of £20: this should be different
for the different ranks

Persons excepted out of Insolvent Acts are 1. Debtors
to the Crown - No reason for this.

Persons not comprised in them are those lying on an excommunicato
capiendo though it be for a debt more & that to even
so trifling an amount.
7.
In Scotland cessio bonorum frees a debtor from
Imprisonment - Mr Wilson - Quere? A man gives
an inventory and is examined before the Court of
Session.
