Unhappily for Mankind, there is
more Contagion in Vice, than Influence
in Virtue.
If we do our best to authorize
Immorality and Influence, and, by the
Dint of Practice, inoculate Corruption,
and a Love of DESPOTISM,
into our very Boys at School,—they
will learn there, whilst they read the
MAXIMS and MANNERS of Antiquity,
to despise HEROES and
PHILOSOPHERS as so many MADMEN.
FINIS.
