Radicalism not dangerous

II Nature of the case
§3.III Moveables

Not to speak of time or times, the The consideration of the place or places at which the operation
would have to be performed presents another kind of difficulty.
All moveables in the United Kingdom could not, nor be, to be packed together as, to
according to Magna Charta all Common Pleas should be held,
within a space of seven yards square. Against this difficulty
it must at the same time be confessed, provision is however already made in some sort made by an
arrangement already brought to view. By the limits, within which
the several local districts , with the equally valuable though not
equally extensive toll of land respectively comprized respectively in itsthan were bounded,
might, and naturally would, be contained the common receptacle
or receptacles into which all such moveable articles, if any, as
were not to be letted in the several spots of ground in which the
commencement of the process found them, might be conveyed,
for the purpose of undergoing the partition division process, and to that
end would have been to be being in the first plan inventoried. But unless the
whole mass to be divided were first to
ascertained, how could the quantum of each part or share be determined?
Difficulties mount here upon difficulties. What articles,
if any, should would be to be conveyed to the place of partition?
what, if any, would be to stay at home? In regard
to those, if any, which were thus to be made to change
their place, what marching and countermarching?
Conveyance in the first place to the place of partition;
in the next place from thence to the abodes of
the respective sharers. And note will that at every
mile, not to say rod oryard, traversed a portion of net value would fly off.
Of eatables and drinkables toll would be to be taken not
perhaps by any turnpike men, but at any rate
by the conductors: for which a man is carrying a pack
or driving a cart, or an ass without a cart, he must live. [+] [+] 1. All this while, what
a service of fresh locusts
in the character of members of official
the Official, Establishment: ! what a mass
of patronage! the thought
of it would suffice to
throw a corruptionist into
a pleasing delirium
but for the consideration
of the base hands in
which the patronage
would be lodged.
