Be this as it may what is manifest is that the
immediate object of apprehension can not in the minds of any of these
intelligent persons have been the universal destruction of all
property, but only some a new division of property, and the
destruction of it as a necessary consequence but the
immediate destruction of all property since thereby every
person occupied in such destruction would be occupied in the
of his own property and with it of his own life
an object which supposing it desired might be accomplished
by a much shorter process.
