Speech, in the chamber of Deputies, on the Projet respecting the Journals.
"The Baron Pasquier, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, in the
"course of his speech in defence of the Projet, made an allusion to
"the affairs of Spain, comparing the interference of the army with
"the influence of the Pretorian Guards in the Roman Empire, and
"expressing great doubts whether the Spanish people would enjoy
"any real freedom, if it was to be received at the hands of a military
"force.
