<p><note>§.1.<lb/> Board of Police<lb/>Revenue &#x2014; Appointment<lb/> Functions &#x2014; <gap/><lb/> Local authority<lb/> Police Funds <lb/> London &amp; Country<lb/> Police Districts</note></p> 

<p>For collecting the above duties and for other functions<lb/>undermentioned <hi rend="underline">Commissioners of <add> Police or </add> Police Revenue</hi> to be appointed<lb/> under the Great Seal &#x2014; King <add>from time to time </add> to approve the <hi rend="underline"> quorum</hi><lb/><del> number</del> <add> number </add>for all purposes or for such and such purposes, <lb/>with <add> <del> such places of setting</del></add> <hi rend="superscript">+
</hi> days and hours of attendance, and Salaries <del> <gap/> </del> for<lb/>themselves and <unclear>subordinates</unclear> <del> as undermentioned</del>, &#x2014; Produce<lb/>of the Duties to form a <hi rend="underline">Police Fund.</hi>  Surplus, after<lb/>defraying of charges <del> <gap/> <gap/> </del> as undermentioned, <del><gap/></del><lb/><del> be paid into the Exchequer, and be applied in the <unclear>Treasury</unclear></del> <add> to be carried to the Consolidated Fund.   <del> according to direction of</del></add> <lb/> <hi rend="underline">London Police District</hi> <del> composed of </del> <add> to include</add> the Liberties of London<lb/>of Westminster the Borough of Southwark with <del>the Parcels</del> <lb/>St Pancras &amp; Marylebone Parishes:- <hi rend="underline">Country</hi> <add> <hi rend="underline">Police</hi></add> District<lb/> <del> <gap/> of</del> the rest of England.   Licences to be <lb/>granted in the London District by the Board, <del>in the </del> <add> sitting</add> <lb/> <add> in some convenient part of that District; in the </add>Country, by <del><gap/> </del> Justices at <del>Licence</del> the meetings <add>  to peruse licencing</add><lb/> <del> for licencing <gap/> </del> if the plan be <sic>past</sic> in <add>the</add> <del><gap/> </del> <lb/> London, <sic>past</sic> in the Country, District, then by the Board.<lb/>Discretion as to the granting of <hi rend="underline">these</hi> licences, the same<lb/>as in the case of <gap/></p> 

<p><note>§2<lb/>&#x2014; Superiors and <lb/> Subordinates</note> </p>
<p> Board to take Orders, in money-matters from <lb/> the Treasury &#x2014; in other matters from the Secretary<lb/>of State's Office.   Power to the Board (subject to the <lb/>Orders of the Treasury) to appoint and suspend or <lb/>remove its Subordinates.</p> 

<p><note>§3<lb/> Electioneering prohibited</note></p> 

<p>No Member or Subordinate of the Board to interfere <lb/>in Parliamentary Elections &#x2014; <del>on pain of </del> <add> under</add> £100 penalty<lb/>as by <unclear>14</unclear> A.c.111.§.186 </p>
