Tothill Fields. Plan of Division — with Observations

from the termination of Rochester Row,
to the termination of Storr's Gardens, together
with a frustrum of a nearly similar & equal
traingle constructed on the same base, such
as shall give the content abovementioned, ex-
clusive of a breadth of 30 feet on each side of
the triangle for Roads, though, on the un-
built side, little, if any, space will it is sup-
-posed to be requisite for that purpose.

4. That the whole of the Waste behind Roches-
-ter Row (including the spot of about half an
acre adjacent to the Bridewell) be also allotted
to the Dean & chapter: except that

5. Out of it be allotted to the Parish or Parishes
a sufficient portion for the erection of a Poor
House —

6. That the remainder, forming about 2/3 of
the whole, be granted by the Dean & Chapter to
the Crown, on a lease for 1000 years (reserving
the Manerial rights) for the reception of the
Penitentiary Establishment —

7. That in this grant be comprised the site
of the existing ruinous Poor-House, called
the Five chimnies: powers for the pulling it
down being accordingly provided in the Act —

8. That the portion thus leased to the Crown
be charged with the obligation of receiving Rub-
bish: & that the portion, reserved to the Dean
& Chapter, be discharged from every such obli-
-gation, should any such be found to exist.
