Beaufry I allow the honourable gentleman and only fear

persons entrusted with the collection of the Revenue
should be nominated by the Crown , but that this
office of finance should proportionatly be coupled
with judicature . Another argument I will help
to against this tribunal : that the tribunals
of which a Jury forms a part have a public to
guard their probity , and this by — tribunal none.
Thus it stands upon principle : which says experience ?
With all these such gross and palpable faults is the
administration of justice then administered less
important than that administered by Juries ? It is
most notoriously and beyond all comparison more
so. Was the most corrupt tribunal of the prominent
kind ever charged with half the one partiality
