§. 11.
Art 1. Embezzlement is where a person having being a
trusted quality of trustee the custody of any thing
subject matter of property whatsoever, in trust
under the obligation of disposing of it for the benefit
of another, or of another, in conjunction with
himself, converts it to his own single use in
some clandestine manner, intending and
endeavouring to avoid in respect thereof, to
be amenable to law.
