16 C Of Theft or Stealing

prosecution has been taken; the application for a summons
to appear or a Justiciabilis venias, maneas, redeas or eas, or for a warrant to apprehend, or a Justiciabilem capias, asseras , transferas., or an
arrest without warrant which ever happens first are
for this purpose to be deemed respectively the first
steps in the prosecution.

Amends 1. What is to be deemed amends. See in Tit. of
Compensation

2. A man is for this purpose to be understood
to have made amends, as soon as he has begun bonâ fide to
convey the thing meant to be given toexecute such his intention, provided he also bonâ fide
the place of its destination perseveres in it to the utmost of his power.

from such part of the hard labour as corresponds
to so much of the amends as
