<p>An experiment to <lb/>
be tried is how it <lb/>
fares - with Preserv<hi rend="underline">anda</hi> <lb/>
when taken <lb/>
out of the Frigidarium <lb/>
and exposed to higher<lb/>
a <unclear>known</unclear> degrees of <lb/>
temperature for a <lb/>
known portions of <lb/>
time ( say  <unclear>Kitchen</unclear><lb/>
temperature) and then <lb/>
returned.</p>
<p>The use of this is <lb/>
to ascertain how <lb/>
<unclear>busy</unclear> they will be &amp; <lb/>
to be kept at the <lb/>
Retail Shops for <lb/>
Sub, <unclear>air</unclear> whether <lb/>
they can be accepted <lb/>
if returned.</p>

<p>3 Sweet-wort</p>

person will melt <lb/>
2 oz of Ice per <lb/>
Minute at 10 <lb/>
Minutes <add>sojournment</add> per <lb/>
day will be <lb/>
18 Cubic per <lb/>

the Air of the Frigidarium <lb/>
(open or <lb/>
confined) should <lb/>
serve without the <lb/>
Balneum: therefore <lb/>
the stowage room <lb/>

be as ample as <lb/>
that in <hi rend="underline"><foreign>Balneo</foreign></hi>. <lb/>
The Balneum is <lb/>
employed only as <lb/>
a <hi rend="underline">safeguard</hi>, and <lb/>
a <hi rend="underline">pis</hi>-<hi rend="underline">aller</hi>.</p>
