IV. Temporary Compensation-money, in default of IV. Supplemental Ground or Equivalent
thereof
Ground expected out of Tothill Fields

The details which occupy the supplemental article
added to the Contract in conformity to a conversation
held some time ago with Mr Long result
from the uncertainty which stile subsists with regard
to the practicability of obtaining the proposed portion
of Tothill Fields. This uncertainty (arising from
the opposition of of Ld Belgrave) can not be removed, till
it be clear to his Lordship's is convinced <add>conviction</add> that his endeavours to
remove the establishment from his neighbourhood will
be ineffectual, in which event he himself is satisfied
that the appropriation of Tothill Fields will be as
beneficial to his estate and to desirable on his own account as well as on the account of the establishment itself.
The completion of the purchase of Lor the Salisbury
Estate has not been sufficient to produce this conviction
There remains therefore the actual signing of the Penitent
Contract for the institution of the establishment, as the
only event by which a conviction the that effect can
be produced.

In the proposed Supplemental clauses
Lot A stands is for the Salisbury Estate already
appropriated — Gross content clear including Roads
which are a mere burthen without benefit 53: A. R. P. 51 A R. P.
that content clear of every thing but Debtors
Lot B. is Mr Wise's Slip of Ground with the
Establishment of it skirting Tothill
Fields.- Gross content including a slip which it
will would be necessary to give up to convert into
a Road - - - - - - -
Neat content - - - - - A. R. P
