Supplemental allowance
make up the said a sum equal to which shall in respect of
the power of purchasing materials of all sorts
in the quantities expended in the said Building
and the appurtenances a sum to equal to what the said sum
of £27000 would have been had the same been
paid at the time when the said Proposal was
delivered in as aforesaid: in respect of which
said supplemental allowance should any difference
arise the same shall be settled by two referees
to be appointed one by each of the parties to
these proposals with power to appoint an umpire.
