9 Panopticon Bill Friendly Guardian

Guardian's abode: 8. the giving like notice of every change of
abode on the part of the Ward: 9. the giving timely advice
in the event of his Death & Burial: as also of his supposed
death where for want of burial or otherwise the same
can not be proved: — of which said undertakings the
particulars may be as expressed in the Form marked [F. 3.]

Art. 10. On the execution of such Bond by the Friendly

Assignment of Wardship
to be executed by Governor,
Guardian, & Ward --
Guardian, an Assignment of the Wardship of such quondam
Prisoner shall be executed by the Governor in favour of the
said Guardian, of which Assignment there shall be triplicate
originals: one to be delivered to the Guardian, another to be kept
by the Governor, and the third to be delivered to the Ward: &
such original shall be executed by all three.

Art. 11. And Whereas if strict scrutiny were

not to be made into the characters & circumstances of such
Guardians, persons of bad character in confederacy with an
unreclaimed Penitentiary-man might proffer themselves
in such capacity with no other view than to enable him to
betake himself anew to evil courses Be it enacted
that the Governor shall not be bound to deliver over to any
person proffering himself in the capacity of Friendly Guardian
the body of any quondam Penitentiary Prisoner nor
to execute any Assignment of the Wardship of such quondam
Prisoner, unless the person so proffering himself shall
