§ Immoveables

Of the 12 millions of lots, some there would be, of which at
present True: But the the value Of is thus ample, unquestionably. But on the other hand there are others such , many of
which taken together would not compose a mass of property
any thing a mass of property sufficient for the purchase of so much as a single
meal. And of these there would then unfortunately be hundreds of thousands thousands to go no
further: which the rich ones abovementioned would scarcely be to be reckoned
by hundreds.

The simple mode of coming at equally division by rule and compass being
thus inapplicable — , giving equally not in effect but only in
