// It is not true that all things (not only good
but evil too) come to pass necessarily thro'
the efficacy and operation of the secret Will
or determination of God; insomuch that
those who committ sin could not have
forborn sinning with respect to the decree
of God ; nor that God wills, appoints or ordains
the sins of men, their most extravagant,
foolish and tyrannical actions, and
missions blaspheming of his own name;
nor that he moves the tongues of men to
cuvot him, or the like.

12 In like manner we esteem it false
and abominable for anyone to maintain,
"that God pushes men on in a secret
'manner to commit those things sins
'which he publickly forbids; that those who sin,
'do not act contrary to that Will of God which
'is properly called his true Will; that the thing
'which is unrighteous that is, contrary to his
'commands is agreeable to his Will; may, what
'is yet more," that to do the Will of God is really
sinful, and deserves external Death.

The Doctrine of the Remonstrants upon

some particular persons, man by man,
without being qualified by with the condition of
obedience.

2 God furnishes true Believers with so much
Grace and supernatural strength as, according
to his infinite Wisdom, he judges sufficient,
in order to their persevering and overcoming
the temptations of the Devil, the flesh, and the World;
