<p>This is the punisment for those who take advantage of the calamity of <gap/> to commit theft, or robbery, or criminal  <gap/></p>
<p>The ignominious punishment for Subornation of Perjury shall be as follows.<lb/>
1. The offender shall <gap/> handcuffed: his hands behind him, and tied to the Pillar of Disgrace <!-- no period --><lb/>
2. About his neck shall be a rope with which he shall be tied closely to the <gap/> as of whispering in his ear.<lb/>
3. If the Perjurer can not be punished at the same time; or if the offender committed an <unclear>uneffectual</unclear>  endeavour to suborn, the <gap/> of a man undergoing the punishment of Perjury shall be substituted.</p><lb/>
<p>Every offender who for any first or second <gap/> crime suffers ignominious punishment shall <unclear><del>during</del></unclear> <hi rend="superscript">all the time that</hi> <del>for so long as</del> he is undergoing the said punishment, wear the cap of ignominy. </p><lb/>
