all and every such subordinate officer Petty Constable and

Officer Constable of the Peace are hereby further required
to obey all such directions as they or any
of them shall receive from the said
Commissioners or any one of them for the
due execution of the Laws and of the Power
and authority by this act given to the said
Commissioners or any one of them. And if
any of the aforesaid Persons shall neglect
or refuse so to obey as aforesaid he or they
shall be liable to such penalty and not exceeding £5
Punishment as is hereafter for that purpose and to such imprisonment in the Common Jail not not exceeding
specially ordained. one month as the said Commissioners or any two of them after due
