did not overtake the Diligence till it got to Petefield
Lipook, which is three stages from London, so now
must tell you my expences, that is, from Westminster
to Kingston 12 Miles at 1 Shilling. is 12 Shillings. from
Kingston to Guildford 18 Miles at D9 - is s13.d6. from
Guildford to Petersfield Lipook 16 Miles at d9 - is Ss12 - which
together is Ss37.d6. without the drivers which was s4.d6
now I think it possible that you cou'd get the money
again, or else frighten 'em; be so good as to try —
