At Hamburgh I must get a copy or two of my
Petty's plan written out fair. I shall have several
additions to make to it. If you should have thoug
of any alteration in the plan, in the Title or in the
manner of writing it send it me there immediately
and I may get it time enough to regulate myself
by it. I told you in a former letter that I know
nothing of the bit of an introduction you made
for it.

Dont you remember there was a something whic
you promised to tell me of on the day that I should
set out from London: but which I forgot to remind
you of? Cant you tell it me now by letter?

When you see Karps ask him about any books which
he knows of which give any account of the Shipbuilding of
the ancients. He told me of one but I forgot it. I have just
now referred to his letter and find he mentions the preface of one
of the last volumes of the Antichitâ di Ercolano esporte.

I have a number of things which I ought to have
told you of and written about, but I fear do not
know when I shall be able unless it be on my journey
from hence to Hamburgh. I cross the Zuder Zee
to the Lamer This I may do in one night.
I think to set out on Tuesday. On Monday I
must go to Sardam. I could not have conceiv
that I should have found such inducements to stay
here I am just now got into the way of seeing thi
I shall have miserable weather but "who's affraid"
There is no real danger to speak of and as to
hardships they produce pleasures. Amen.

I dont like my not having heard from England
why the deuce could not you write here if not to
Rotterdam.

I have now so much in my head that wants
to be made permanent that I grudge you
every moment. This day sennight I sent
my last letter.

Sr Willm Hamilton in his letter to Sr Josh Yorke
said that the body of fire at the eruption which
lasted some hours was 3 miles broad and
4,000 yards high. Cinders were flung to the distance
of 100 miles a very few only.

Sr Josh said that Spanish Officers who had been at the Hague
came to him but not to the French Embassador.

You will hear from me again from this place.
