I have received information from Mr.
Gomm & from Nikita Demidof, that you
passed the whole Summer in good health,
in & about his Establishment at Nisherco
Jaghilsk, & that you intended assisting
at Perm at the ceremony of opening the
new Government. I am glad to find, that
all went according to you wishes, & hope
you will continue in good health for the
rest of your journey, which seems to be
at least for a year more than you intended.
At Perm you will have found
Count Stroganof, with his retinue & would
have found me, had my valetudinary state
of health permitted me to accompany the
Count farther than Moscow.
