<p>About the beginning of last month I returned here from <lb/>the long journey which I had been making with the <lb/>greatest satisfaction, through the most interesting parts of <lb/>this vast empire.  As I visited all the mines in my <lb/>way some of which are the most remarkable of any in <lb/>the world I had an opportunity of making several <lb/>very valuable collections of minerals, and other subjects<lb/>of natural history the productions of this Empire. </p>
<p> Part of these curiosities so much of them as are arrived<lb/>here in time, I sent to England by one of the Ships which <lb/>sailed the latest from this port.  I took the liberty<lb/>to address the boxes to your Lordship knowing that <lb/>by that means they would be the most effectually secured<lb/>from any damage they might receive at the visitation</p> <pb/>

About the beginning of last month I returned here from
the long journey which I had been making with the
greatest satisfaction, through the most interesting parts of
this vast empire. As I visited all the mines in my
way some of which are the most remarkable of any in
the world I had an opportunity of making several
very valuable collections of minerals, and other subjects
of natural history the productions of this Empire.

Part of these curiosities so much of them as are arrived
here in time, I sent to England by one of the Ships which
sailed the latest from this port. I took the liberty
to address the boxes to your Lordship knowing that
by that means they would be the most effectually secured
from any damage they might receive at the visitation
