Function of By the tactic branch, the se several subject matters
of discourse are, by means of their respective signs, formed
into groups, by means of consideration had of the relations which have placed between the imports of those several signs
and determination given to the order in which they shall
be presented to the minds of hearers or readers.

The principle or say cause which has for its effect the holding up to viewbringing into
the mind of the person or persons addressed spoken to or written for has been termed
the principle of association.

Subject matters of the association were have been — 1. sign with
