it, — Both should be artfully represented
as in a manner waste alike. —
These are the Words of the Petition:

— " That the Piece of Ground
" called Deans-Yard, together with
" certain other Pieces of Ground
" contiguous thereto, upon which
" several old and ruinous Houses
" are now standing." —

But Deans-Yard is far from being
in that Condition; many thousand
Pounds having been laid out, within
a few Years, in building new, and repairing
and ornamenting other Houses.

of ruinous Houses any-where have a
Right, controulable only by Parliament,
to consult their own Conveniency,
