The 29th of Nov.r 1783 was the day the important/big day
on which the lot fate of Ireland parliamentary reform and without
that of Ireland and peradventure thereby also of Great Britain was — no
one can say for what length of time decided. Up Down to that day
the course had been continual — of advance on the part of the
Associated Volunteers the only true representatives of the people
of retrial on the part of the British Monarchy Monarch with his
creatures dependants and adherents in the two Houses. On

To the House of Commons from the Convention came to with a Parliamentary Reform
Bill in his hand Mr Grattan's great and worthy worthy and formidable rival,
Mr Flood. The House of Commons made a stand If At
the end of an almost furious debate, the motion was negative
by a large majority, the mover having been dealt with in the
character of the b chief of an invading enemy. The force
of established of words of custom and prejudice government of precedent and habitual prejudice
was on the side of the House of Commons; normal representatives of the people physical forces
