1. As to Matter.

1. Compleat the list of
instruments.

2. Of the enactive matter
insert first the
generally applying.

3. Then, the specially
applying matter, applying
to the several instruments
or groupes of
instruments.

4. What enactive matter
belongs to the several
sorts of instrument,
call The Code
of the Subject.

Name each Code after
the name of the
instruments.

Each instruments
Code will be composed
of the generally
applying matter, and
it's own specially applying
matter.

5. Throughout the whole
pick out the exposition
requiring words
and give the exposition
of each as a
separate article.

They will be those
which, to amplitude
of extent, add remoteness
from universal
use.

6. Distinguish all of
these by a peculiar
type - not the Italics,
(as being wanted for
other purposes) but
a larger Roman.

7.Discarding, and far as
possible, all technical
law words, employ such
words of general jurisprudence
as are familiar
to all ears -

they will not the less
need to be expounded:
words familiar, ideas
not so clear as could be
wished - all the others,
that of right not excepted,
out of the idea of
obligation.

Small the number of
these acts.

9. Print in black letter
any such law terms,
the use of which is
found unavoidable.

11. Frame an all comprehensive
statement of
the genealogical and
other modifications of
conditions in life, calling
for correspondent
dispositions: in respect
of survivorship and
need of provision, so
far as the greatest happiness
principle, admitts
of anticipation
of Seclurity. For exemplification,
see H's marriage
settlement as
far as it goes. H. will
not suffice for Wills.

12. For the purpose of
testamentary dispositions, this exhibition
will be particularly
useful. Testator's, or
will making guide,
this.

13. By means of the
exhaustively
analysis, show the
points of agreements
and difference between
the several made & of
disposition, as to property.

14. So, of the reasons
by which they are
respectively recommended,
raking for
the radical reason
conduciveness to the
maximum of happiness
principle, the
greatest happiness
principle.
