so to be erected as aforesaid shall be in readiness

Now therefore it is agreed by and between
the said parties to these presents, that for as follows that is to say
in Article 1. In consideration of the clear sum of £12,000 to be
advanced to the said Jeremy Bentham, clear of all deductions in
manner hereinafter following that is to say £6,000
thereof at the time of signing this agreement, and
the remaining £6,000 at the end of three Calendar
months from the date hereof shall erect or
cause to be erected upon such spot as aforesaid
within 6 calendar months after possession thereof
shall have been obtained a Penitentiary House
upon a plan similar in principle and effect to the plan
hereunto annexed and capable of containing
2,000 Prisoners.
