Of this manifold writing as applied to judicial purposes,
a capital advantage over and above the saving of the time
necessary to the examination of transcripts, is the sure standard
of comparison it affords for all which by means of the
document dept in the judicatory it affords for all such multiplicates as are sent out of it. Fraudulent alteration with
security against alternate is thereby rendered impossible.

For Of each species of judicial instrument containing matter
of general application, the expense will may be further reduced by
employing the press printing press or the quasi-writing of the
so much as is of general application, employing an instrument
of writing no otherwise than in filling up with the particular matter the void
spaces left by the press. The general matter will serve
for such and occasion as in indefinite number: the productive
matter will be consigned to writing either in the ordinary
mode or in the manifold mode, as convenience and frugality
dictate.
