The column of natural denomination would be a sort

Any one of those columns of technical denominations
would be seen to be to jurisprudence what a map of the world
such as Ptolemy or Pliny would have drawn it in their days,
or such as a Chinese or Japanese would draw it in these
days or such as may be seen in the Nuremberg Chronicle of 1493 is days would be to Geography. Immense voids such as are
still obliged to left by necessity in the Maps of Africa or America: for
offences of the most different nature and description in the English column nothing but
an everlasting repetition of trespass, trespass.
