1. That he had opportunities
of sending
every Tuesday and
Friday – but that
it wd be necessary
he shd have J.B's
Letter on Mondays
and Thursdays to insure
their going by
his conveyance.
2. That Letters might
be sent in a sealed
state – For that he
had always sent
his own in that
state to Mr Blaquiere,
which were generally
of the most private
nature, and had never
had reason to
suspect that they had
been opened.
3. That he could receive
letters from
as well as send letters
to France gratis.
But nothing printed.

Called at Mr. Lawrences
– got from
him some seeds
called Acer Saccharinum
– and begged
him to buy Rigby's Framingham
&c. –
Came a note from
Mr Bowring
to say that the opportunity
of sending by his Ratner
to Blaquiere and
Sir Samuel Bentham
will not take place
till Tuesday next.
